TIL A Canadian university gave out free condoms with notes attached promoting safe sex. These were later recalled because the staples used to fasten the note had punctured the condoms.
The condoms weren't punctured. It was the air pocket containing the condom that was punctured. This compromises the condom but isn't quite as mind-numbingly stupid or dangerous.
